Today in the west some people are drawn to fundamental Christianity because of an intense emotional relationship with Jesus, others are drawn to the simple austerity of Zen Buddhism, and some to the intermingling of energy and love in Sufi dancing. When you work with a particular lineage, commit yourself totally to it. Hear it, see it, smell it, taste it, totally surrender into it. Don't worry about your final path. Let the inner guru call you. Through meditation you learn to listen quietly, until the call comes, clear and unmistakable.
