They send every Kenworth (9 trucks) we had here in

They just bought two new Kenworth's to add to that fleet; one being a

Tri Drive tractor and a new 65 ton lowboy to go with it..

They also bought two new cranes (one crawler & one rubber tired) for that

division.

Dave Cruz said they have moved more rigs in the last 6 months in ND than

Cruz Construction moved in
 Alaska in the last 6 years.

Williston is like a gold rush town; they moved one of our 40 man camps down

there since there are no rooms available.

Unemployment in ND is the lowest in the nation at 3.4 percent last I checked.

The host said to Forbes, "I am going to ask you a direct question and I would

like a direct answer; how much oil does the
 U.S. have in the ground?" Forbes

did not miss a beat, he said, "more than all the
 Middle East put together."

The U. S.. Geological Service issued a report in April 2008 that only

scientists and oil men knew was coming, but man was it big.

It was a revised report (hadn't been updated since 1995) on how much oil was

in this area of the western 2/3 of
 North Dakota , western
 South Dakota , and

extreme eastern
 Montana .

Bay , and has the potential to eliminate all American dependence on foreign

oil.. The Energy Information Administration (EIA) estimates it at 503 billion

$107 a barrel, we're looking at a resource base worth more than $5.3

trillion.

"When I first briefed legislators on this, you could practically see their

jaws hit the floor.

They had no idea.." says Terry Johnson, the Montana Legislature's financial

analyst.

"This sizable find is now the highest-producing onshore oil field found in

the past 56 years," reports The Pittsburgh Post Gazette.

It's a formation known as the
 Williston
 Basin , but is more commonly referred

to as the 'Bakken.'

It stretches from Northern Montana, through
 North Dakota and into
 Canada .

For years, U.. S. oil exploration has been considered a dead end.

Even the 'Big Oil' companies gave up searching for major oil wells decades

ago..

However, a recent technological breakthrough has opened up the Bakken's

massive reserves, and we now have access of up to 500 billion barrels. And

because this is light, sweet oil, those billions of barrels will cost

Americans just $16 PER BARREL !!!!!!

That's enough crude to fully fuel the American economy for 2041 years

straight.

Anita Dunn and Mao: Establishment Press Predictably Mostly Muzzled

This won’t surprise anyone who reads this blog regularly, but it needs to get on the record nonetheless: The airing of a June video showing interim White House Communications Director Anita Dunn praising Mao and  Mother Teresa as “two of my favorite philosophers” to a group of high school students is barely news in the establishment press.
In an August 2008 report on the Obama campaign, Anne E. Kornblut of the Washington Post also described Dunn as “as senior adviser” who had joined the campaign “in the spring.”
Roger Kimball at Pajamas Media has the video. Jeff Poor (covering Glenn Beck’s original broadcast that broke the story) and P.J. Gladnick (on Dunn’s pathetic attempt to excuse herself) at NewsBusters have previously dealt with Dunn’s speech.
Here are the Mao-relevant portions of the speech excerpt:

…. the third lesson and tip actually comes from two of my favorite political philosophers – Mao Tse Tung and Mother Teresa, not often coupled with each other but the two people that I turn to most to basically deliver a simple point, which is you’re going to make choices.

What follows is a round-up of the establishment media’s reaction to the Dunn revelation.
Here is what I found in a search on “Anita Dunn” (typed with quote marks at the Associated Press:

At the New York Times, the same search request came back with two relevant results:

• First, there’s a ridiculously biased “Week in Review” piece (“The Battle Between the White House and Fox News”) that appeared in that section’s front page in today’s print edition by David Carr that is dated October 17 online. Though the story more than likely went to print 36 hours or more after Glenn Beck aired the Dunn speech excerpt Thursday evening, Carr made no reference to Dunn’s Mao-is-a-fave speech.
• Then there’s a Friday afternoon Caucus Blog post (“White House Vs. Fox: Chairman Mao”). The post does refer to Dunn’s speech, carries the YouTube vid, and also carries Dunn’s shameless “Lee Atwater also quoted Mao” justification attempt. That’s nice, but in my opinion keeping the news at the Caucus Blog with a with a conveniently uninformative “this is nothing” headline is a “clever” way for the Times to claim “See, we covered it,” while ensuring that print edition readers, most of whom will never see the blog entry, don’t see it.

Now let’s get to the the Washington Post. A search on Dunn’s name in quotes at about 10:15 a.m. came back with two relevant items.
Readers will love the first one. At the end of a “Live Fix” online exchange with readers on Friday, the Post’s Chris Cillizza had this testy exchange with “Dunn Loring VA”:

Dunn Loring, VA: Questions about Rak Goyle, ok, questions about Anita Dunn, avoided. Isn’t the WH communications director and her crusade against Fox more newsworthy? Are you afraid of what she might do if you address her admitted love of Mao in your chat?
Chris Cillizza: HMMM. No.
I think the WH made a strategic move to publicly hammer FNC and they used Anita Dunn to do it because she is a veteran communicator who also happens to be the White House communications director.
Happy now, Dunn Loring?

The other item is Kathleen Parker’s Sunday syndicated column, where the faux conservative’s predictable reaction to the escalating fight between the Obama administration and Fox News is to “Let the little dogs yap, Mr. President.” Parker’s column first appeared on Friday at other outlets, so it’s probable that she prepared it before Beck’s program appeared.
Otherwise there is no straight-news coverage of Dunn’s Mao reference in the Post.
A search on Dunn’s name at the Los Angeles Times returns one item from yesterday noting that “Dunn’s criticism of Fox News” will be a subject of conversation on CBS’s “Sunday Morning” show.
After sorting by date, a Google News search covering October 15-18 on ["Anita Dunn" Mao] (typed as indicated between brackets) at about 10:45 this morning came back with 77 results. U.S. establishment press outlets make a up a precious few of those results. The ones I found came from:

• A blog post at the Chicago Tribune by Steve Chapman, who mostly makes excuses for Dunn.
• A Charleston Daily Mail blog item by Don Surber, who generally seems to have a stronger bond with the blogosphere than the media establishment.
• Kansas City Star columnist Yael T. Abouhalkeh.
• CNN International’s coverage of Dunn’s pitiful response, even more pitifully headlined (“Obama aide fires back at Beck over Mao remarks”).
• A Christian Science Monitor item by Patrik Jonsson that obsesses over “irony.”

Lynn Sweet at the Chicago Sun-Times put up the transcript of a press briefing by White House Deputy Press Secretary Bill Burton, which includes this priceless Q&A (bold is mine):

Q. One more question — have you — do you any comment on Anita Dunn’s belief that Mao is one of her favorite political philosophers?
MR. BURTON: I caught some of that from the Glenn Beck show yesterday, but I don’t think anybody takes it — takes his attacks very seriously. We’re just — you know, we go day to day in this White House trying to ensure that people know the truth about the policies and programs and positions that the President holds, and we’re going to continue to do that.

They take Beck sooooo not seriously, yet they’re watching him. Sure, Bill.
Several other items that appear to represent establishment media coverage of the situation only appear because commenters at the respective links brought up the topic. Thanks to those commenters for literally doing the press’s work for them. It’s a shame that those commenters can’t receive rewards for their efforts.

PVV investigates return of guilder, may call for referendum

The anti-Islam PVV is paying a 'renowned international bureau' to investigate whether bringing back the guilder would benefit the Dutch economy.
If the report is positive, the party will press for a referendum on leaving the euro, party leader Geert Wilders says in Friday's Telegraaf.
'The cabinet is frightening us by telling us the lights will go out if we leave the euro. Of course it will cost money, but I want to know if going back to the guilder will deliver more in the long term,' Wilders told the paper.
Prime minister Mark Rutte told reporters after the weekly cabinet meeting the PVV's action will probably show that a return to the guilder would be bad for Europe and help persuade Wilders to toe the cabinet line.
Finance minister Jan Kees de Jager also said a return to the guilder 'is not an option'. The euro has delivered many benefits, such as low inflation and modest unemployment, the minister said.
Coalition
Wilders denies the move is aimed at putting pressure on the coalition, which may be forced to make more spending cuts next year because of the eurozone debt crisis.
The PVV has agreed to support the minority cabinet on the economy in return for tougher immigration rules.
According to a Maurice de Hond poll earlier this week, 58% of the population support a return to the guilder. The Netherlands adopted the euro in 2001.

Obama Fans Threaten Sheriff Joe About Birth Certificate Investigation

Last week I told you about Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s investigation into the birth records of Barack Obama.  Arpaio has been not only investigating the authenticity of Obama’s birth records, of which three different ones have been released by the White House, but he is also investigating the reports that Obama is using someone else’s Social Security Number.
He has told the White House that they need to authorize the Department of Health in Hawaii to open up all of the original paper and ink documents concerning Obama’s birth to an independent court-authorized forensic examination.  Then and only then can the matter of the authenticity of the birth certificate and eligibility of Obama be resolved once and for all and put all rumors to rest.
Arpaio has always been tough on crime and criminals and as such as always received death threats.  With Maricopa County being so close to the Mexican border, thousands of pounds of drugs are trafficked through the county on its way to dealers throughout America.  Arpaio’s law enforcement agency has a special drug task force whose sole purpose is to stop the flow of drugs through the county.
The drug task force has been quite successful and is regularly arresting suppliers, traffickers and dealers and removing tons of drugs from the streets.  With the success of the task force, Arpaio regularly receives death threats from the Mexican drug cartels.  He turns all threats he receives over to his office to investigate and keep track of.
In addition to the drug cartel death threats, Arpaio has been receiving threats from loyal Obama supporters.  When asked about the threats he’s been getting lately, Arpaio said he was shocked at how vile the threats from Obama fans have been.  Then he said, “I’ve got the drug cartels from Mexico sending me death threats, and now I have the Obama supporters sending me death threats. I’m not sure which are worse.”But what does surprise Arpaio the most is how little national media coverage he has been receiving concerning the investigation.  He admits that he’s a controversial figure and that he is regularly surrounded by media for one thing after another.
However, he has noticed that once he launched is investigation of Obama, the bulk of the national media vanished like cockroaches in a spotlight.  Arpaio believes the media has the out of sight out of mind mentality concerning his investigation.  Sheriff Joe said,
“Getting death threats is nothing new for me.  But why has the media has decided to black out all news of our Obama investigation? That’s what I don’t understand.
“I’m a controversial guy and usually the media is all over me, but when I decided to investigate Obama, the media has suddenly gone missing in action.”
“If the mainstream media thinks our investigation will go away if it remains unreported, they’re wrong. The investigation is proceeding, and I fully anticipate we will publish a report early next year.”
While the liberal media can’t get enough of Herman Cain and the accusations that have been leveled against him, their glaring absence in the Arpaio investigation of Obama speaks volumes.  Their loyalty to their chief liberal in the White House runs stronger than their desire to cover what could be the history making news of the decade.  And/or, the White House goons have also threatened the media if they cover Arpaio’s investigation.
Regardless of the liberal media’s aversion to the Obama investigation, there are other media outlets that are following Arpaio’s actions and they are eagerly awaiting the results, as are all of us.

When asked to name the Republicans she was speaking about, Bachman jokingly told a reporter, “That’s part of the puzzle you get to figure out when I give the speech.”
Speaking at the Family Research Council in Washington, D.C., Bachmann warned that if the United States was not willing to make major changes in cutting spending it would end up like Greece, which has gone bankrupt and required a bailout from European neighbors.

I love the Constitution

I am a naturalized American citizen. I love this country and I love the Constitution. I agree with the Mormons that the Constitution is inspired of God. ALL the freedoms and privileges we enjoy were not given to us by some government. They belong to us because God has given them. Now we have a would be king in the white house who believes that he is the giver of all that is. It is time to rally the troops, get this false pretender off his throne. It is time for all of us to wake up.
Obama has done more to destroy the Constitution in his 3 years in office than has been done since the nation was founded. The old line Republicans are just as guilty. I think they love what is happening, because when they take control again they will have more power than they ever imagined. It is time for 'we the people' to get ready for a major revolution. Watch carefully the events that will be unfolding about April through June of 2012. God, who gave us our Liberty, is not asleep. He will help fight our battles.

With absolutely no proof of any kind of who he really is, Barack Obama made it to the Oval Office in 2008.  There was no media vetting of the largely absentee senator from Illinois, who even back then had the temerity to compare himself to Abraham Lincoln.  All anyone ever had to go on was an autobiographical book suspected of being ghost-written by an unrepentant domestic terrorist.  We all know how it goes with politicians and autobiographical books.
When Nancy Pelosi writes hers she will claim she trumps Mother Teresa, the Calcutta saint, not the one married to John Kerry.
If Harry Reid ever gets around to it, writing his, wine will turn to vinegar overnight.
You can claim to be anyone you want in a book, and that’s what Barry Soetoro did.
The point is that Barry Soetoro took the name Barack Hussein Obama, got himself elected and immediately began pushing the country so many look up to, right up to the precipice and nobody—nobody—has been able to stop him.
Now when we have a narcissistic Obama plunging in the polls, a democrat governor in North Carolina is pushing the envelope for suspending elections and covering up a notion she dropped a bombshell by claiming she was only using hyperbole to make a point for a Rotary Club.
If the election were held tomorrow,  Obama would go down in a landslide strikingly more humiliating than the shellacking he and his party got—and never got over—in the midterms.
But the 2012 election is more than a year away, and the man who made it all the way to the most powerful office on earth sans identity documents has all the booty, and the absolute power it brings, at his command.
This is Obama’s well-stocked position at a time when only suspended elections would guarantee his re-election.
North Carolina Gov. Bev Perdue was not joking when she spoke about suspending elections.  Nor did she pick the idea out of thin air.  Perdue was giving the suspend-congressional-elections idea its first oxygen for her hell-bent-for-leather boss.
It is crucial to not let this day go down without remembering what Perdue said.
Don’t let the state-controlled mainstream media lure you back to sleep by saying if there is no election, then why is Obama so diligently campaigning.
Obama is not campaigning.  He is preparing for Stage Two of the Total Transformation of America, using taxpayer money to prepare his Internet-identified “troops” for the coming Marxist Revolution.
He must not be allowed to get away with it.  Patriots should now be doing everything legal to stop him in his tracks.
Nothing is impossible when all the control is held by a tyrant.
Obama and his masters already pulled the biggest scam on any country in modern times by making it to the White House without legitimate I.D.
A dangerous new chapter is being written in American history that, if successful, is destined to impact the history of the West.  It’s called ‘Re-Election by Suspended Election Revolution’.

     And just why are we sending such a simple and harsh message to our Republican "leaders" in Congress? Because, quite frankly, they just don't get it.

     And if you're looking for evidence of the stench of idiocy and cowardice that has infected the halls of Congress, look no further that the following excerpt from The Hill:

"'Birtherism' reared its head in the waning hours of the Western Republican Leadership Conference when a participant asked Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) and Rep. David Schweikert (R-Ariz.) why they weren't pushing to impeach Obama for what he said were Obama's falsified citizenship documents."

     What followed in their responses was the most sickening display of how our Republican "leaders" view their duty to the Constitution and the American people. Rather than defend America in it’s time of greatest need or support the categorical evidence that Obama may have falsified his birth certificate and is ineligible to hold the office of President of the United States Schweikert and Lee demonstrated, by their own words and actions, exactly what is wrong in Washington.

     After patronizingly giving lip-service to the questioner that "he could be right," according to The Hill, Schweikert said he WOULD NOT pursue the matter because... wait until you hear this... he FEARED ALIENATING "Democrats who might vote Republican."

Obama Forces the Army to Undergo Sensitivity Training about Islamic Jihad

In this new era of political correctness,the U.S. Army has published a special handbook for soldiers that appears to justify Islamic jihad by describing it as the “communal military defense of Islam and Muslims when they are threatened or under attack.”
Because radical Muslim groups consider Islam to be perpetually under moral,spiritual,economic,political and military attack by the “secular west” they consider military jihad a “constant necessity” and use it as a “rallying cry to resist and attack all this is un-Islamic,” according to the new Army manual.
The handbook was created to help soldiers become “culturally literate” ambassadors with sensitivity and understanding of Islamic civilization. The goal is to help them understand how vital culture is in accomplishing military missions. Military personnel who have a distorted picture of a host culture make enemies for the United States. At least that’s what the publication,Culture Cards:Afghanistan &Islamic Culture,says. An organization of scientists dedicated to national and international security issues discovered the new Army tool and published it on its website a few days ago.
The manual has nearly three dozen informative chapters dedicated to subjects such as Muslim taboos, the five pillars if Islam, Jihad, the Quran and Muslim festivals. There are also sections on ethnocentrism, cultural relativism and social norms and mores. The lengthy introduction defines cultural competency—awareness and sensitivity of another group—and social norms and mores in Arab countries.

White House REJECTS Solyndra Subpoena

President Obama’s attorney sent a letter to Congressional investigators on Friday, saying the White House would not cooperate with a subpoena requesting documents related to its doling out a $535 million loan guarantee to now bankrupt solar panel manufacturer Solyndra.
“I can only conclude that your decision to issue a subpoena, authorized by a party-line vote, was driven more by partisan politics than a legitimate effort to conduct a responsible investigation,” Obama’s counsel, Kathryn Ruemmler, wrote in a letter to the top Republicans on the House Energy and Commerce committee. (Read Ruemmler’s full letter here).
Committee chairman Rep. Fred Upton, R-Mich, blasted the White House response:

“We have been reasonable every step of the way in this investigation, and it is a shame that the Obama Administration and House Democrats continue to put up partisan roadblocks to hide the truth from taxpayers.

   Obama is not God! The last time I looked he wasn’t Dictator yet either! So he is subject to the laws of this nation, and if he refuses a subpoena he is subject to arrest. Speaker of the house needs to fill out a warrant for such an arrest to take place immediately!

Four lily white liberals smear a black man

Just as Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain predicted, he has become the most recent victim of the race-baiting left's high-tech lynching of prominent, conservative black men.

Days before the Cain sexual harassment smear emerged from the sewers of liberal trash journalism, MSNBC's Martin Bashir hosted contributor Karen Finney who proclaimed that conservatives only liked Cain because "they think he's a black man who knows his place."   As Bashir actually thanked her on-air for making such an offensive and ignorant remark (far from being a submissive position, conservatives are supporting Cain in his effort to ascend to the highest office in the land), Finney granted, "I know that's harsh, but that's how it sure seems to me."

That's an interesting moment of candor since it now sure seems to any American paying attention that Finney and her fellow liberals dislike Cain because they think he's a black man who doesn't know his place.  Diversity of thought amongst minorities -- particularly blacks -- is forbidden in the church of liberalism.  Having constructed their entire political kingdom on the back of the dollars-for-votes dependency model, self-made black men who stray from the liberal plantation and threaten to carry the empowering message of personal (not government) reliance to throngs of minorities currently under the left's spell of entitlement must be dealt with severely.  Destroying them professionally and personally is a small price to pay to keep the plantation thriving.

And so, with that greater good in mind, four lily white liberals (Jonathan Martin, Maggie Haberman, Anna Palmer and Kenneth Vogel) authored a hit piece on the prominent conservative businessman in a desperate attempt to smear him out of contention for the Republican presidential nomination.  This gutter politics is proof positive of what I've held for a long time: if you want to catch a modern-day glimpse of old-school white-on-black racism, behold the way white liberals treat black conservatives.

The racial motivations in this particular story cannot be missed.  This is, after all, the same political movement that scolded anyone who dared suggest that the serial infidelity and alleged sexual assaults committed by white liberal Bill Clinton were relevant to his pursuit of the presidency.

And this is the same political movement that was so disinterested in the adultery of white liberal John Edwards who fathered a child with a campaign worker while his wife was losing her fight with cancer, that the National Enquirer tabloid out-scooped them.  And even as late as June of this year, while Edwards faced criminal indictment for his attempts to illegally cover-up the scandal, fellow white liberals like Chris Matthews continued to defend him, suggesting that his prosecution was "one of those [politically motivated] things you read about in third world countries."

And this is the same political movement that yawned at the sexual predilections and cell phone dalliances of white liberal Anthony Weiner, eagerly defending him from the "savagery" of conservative media types like Andrew Breitbart.

Yet this same movement that had to catapult themselves over mountains of evidence in order to ignore the indiscretions of those white liberals enthusiastically skewered a black conservative based on the flimsy and unsubstantiated testimony of undisclosed sources.  The case against Cain was so weak that after bringing the accusation, the lead author of the smear, white liberal Jonathan Martin, hilariously suggested on national television that it was Cain's responsibility -- not his -- to explain the accusation.  This embarrassing performance didn't earn him skepticism and scorn from his fellow white liberals like Chris Matthews.  Rather, Matthews congratulated him on breaking the story.

Martin's colleague at the now forever tarnished website Politico, Mike Allen, only added to the pathetic transparency of this racial attack when he appeared on another MSNBC program, "Morning Joe."  Asked if Politico could cite any evidence beyond the allegation that Cain had made gestures "that were not overtly sexual but that made women uncomfortable," Allen ecstatically announced that their story had "48,000 mentions" on the social media rumor mill Twitter.  The anatomy of a smear: the evidence is irrelevant ... all that matters is that the accusation spreads.

The attack on Cain certainly isn't the first of its kind.  The original high-tech lynching of conservative Supreme Court justice Clarence Thomas for the same stereotypical allegations, the constant attacks on "Uncle Tom" economists Thomas Sowell and Walter E. Williams, the belligerent nastiness directed at self-proclaimed welfare brat turned conservative champion Star Parker, and the persistent threats faced by tea-party Congressman Allen West all stand as stark depictions of the regard liberals have for blacks who dare to think differently than them.

If nothing else, at least we now know what PBS's Tavis Smiley meant several months ago when he promised this election would be "the most racist in the history of this Republic."  The left is seeing to that.

If 20% of the Dutch population spent one day a week working from home it would generate some €2bn a year, according to research by consultancy group PWC into the economic affects of what has become known in the Netherlands as the 'new way of working'.
If people spend two days a week working from home, the benefits would go up to almost €3bn, PWC says in the report, which was published on Monday at the start of a week-long campaign to boost home working.
The benefits would come from the reduction in cars on the roads - which in turn would cut traffic jams, improve air quality and cut accidents.
Office costs
Home working also benefits companies because they can reduce their office costs and home workers are more efficient, PWC says.
However, despite the positive aspects, home workers also tend to overwork, and they need to ensure a clear divide between work and private life, Karlien Haak, from a union initiative to boost home working, told news agency ANP.
Trouw reports that as part of the campaign to encourage more people to work from home, environmental group Natuur en Milieu is leafleting commuters all week - dressed in pink dressing gowns to emphasis the benefits.

The Obama administration is trampling upon our religious liberties

Dear Fellow Conservative: We've been sounding the alarm for months about the Obama administration's blatant anti-faith policies. But now they've gotten so bad that even the liberal Washington Post has taken note! It's no secret that Catholic groups on both sides of the aisle have, for some time now, believed that the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is operating on an ABC policy...that is, "Anyone But Catholics." But, for the Washington Post to publish an article last week addressing the latest dispute between HHS and the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops over human trafficking, slanted in favor of the bishops, says a lot. The Obama administration is trampling upon our religious liberties, and we must fight back.  you have the opportunity to add your name to our petition demanding the President fulfill his promise to seek the common good on divisive issues. I hope you will take a moment to sign it. Think about some of the policies that have taken root since Obama entered the White House: No longer defending the Defense of Marriage Act; Forcing private insurers to provide contraception like the morning after pill to women at no charge; Reversing the ban on federal dollars from funding stem cell research; Taking away health care providers' rights of conscience. Other than the controversial spending and tax bills, these policies are the highlights of what the Obama administration has accomplished. This administration is leading America to a place where religious liberties do not exist, and if we're not vigilant, they'll try to take God away next. Are you comfortable with this?
